IN conjunction with Foodpanda’s 10th anniversary, Malaysians will be able to get a taste of three special localised flavours with a twist.

The menu is from a partnership between Devi’s Corner restaurant, Jackson’s Fried Chicken and Tambahlah that would be available from August 12 to 14.

The Vibes was invited for the food test launch recently at Devi’s Corner on Jalan Telawi 4, Bangsar.

First up was the Jackson's Burger X Devi's Corner Crab Curry special. The juicy fried chicken was cooked to perfection – golden crisp on the outside and moist on the inside, and spread with mayonnaise.

The shredded fresh salad was smothered with a lovely combination of sizzling spices from Devi’s Corner OG curry with smashed chunks of crab meat on top.

The price for Jackson's Burger x Devi's Corner Crab Curry is going for RM15.98.

The second item newly introduced was the Tambahlah’s Nasi Lemak with popcorn chicken with Devi's Corner Crab Curry.

It comprised Basmati rice infused with coconut pandan flavoured milk, a boiled egg, crispy peanuts, deep fried anchovies, golden crispy fried popcorn chicken, with a tangy splodge of sambal and made ‘banjir’ with the Devi’s Corner OG crab curry.

The taste was satisfying as one could taste the traditional meal of nasi lemak. At the same time, experience the aroma of sizzling spices of the crab curry with little chunks on it.

Surprisingly, it goes well with the popcorn chicken too!

The price for Tambahlah’s Nasi Lemak with popcorn chicken with Devi's Corner Crab Curry is RM26.39.

Ending a meal without dessert? Never!

The Foodpanda team had also come up with a special baked good to tickle our taste buds.

Introducing the Pau-Pau Cheesecake – velvety smooth strawberry cheesecake on a Biscoff biscuit base and crumbles on top. It melts deliciously in the mouth with a very robust aroma of sweetness from the strawberries.

A good portion for one going for RM12.67. – The Vibes, August 6, 2022
