A SOCIAL media user is on a quest to reunite an RM50 note with its original owner.

The note bears a special message written in Bahasa Malaysia which reads, "The last money from dad" with the date 11/5/20 and the words "Al-fatihah".

According to Facebook user Mohd Azfarul Zainol Akmar, 35 @Tuah Lim from Caltex Jalan Gambang in Kuantan, he got the money from an ATM in Kuantan.

Reports in Kosmo said since pictures of the note went viral, many had contacted Mohd Azfarul claiming the money was theirs.

"I have to be careful and identify the true owner.

"Though it's only RM50, it is important I give it to the right person and have also sought help from my friends," he said.
