SHE never thought she would ever remarry after losing her husband 42 years ago, but at the age of 78, Rohani Mohd Kassim has once again tied the knot.

She was introduced to her husband, Yusof Embi, 77, by her friends and she began opening her heart to a new life partner again, reported Harian Metro.

Rohani, from Kuala Lumpur, is a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of eight children, 44 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

“After getting to know each other for a week, my husband proposed and I accepted it on the first day of Ramadan this year.

"Everyone in my family gave me their blessing,” she said, adding that she recently tied the knot at Dewan Serbaguna Masjid Az-Zubair Ibnul Awwam, Cheras.

Meanwhile, Yusof, told Harian Metro that he lost his wife back in 2021, and fell in love with Rohani when he first saw her.

"We met at a restaurant and I immediately felt comfortable with her," he said. – The Vibes, April 29, 2024
