Fire breaks out at Pasir Gudang biodiesel facility

A FIRE broke out yesterday at the Pasir Gudang production facility of Vance Bioenergy, in Johor.

Media reports, quoting sources close to the Malaysian biodiesel company, said the fire would not affect production.

An investigation in ongoing into the cause of the blaze.

Vance Bioenergy is a biodiesel producer for local and European markets.

It has a production capacity of 450,000 tonnes of diesel per year, 300,000 of it produced in Tanjung Langsat and 150,000 in Pasir Gudang. – May 7, 2024.
