Oct 10 deadline for digital ID login in MyJPJ app scrapped
MyJPJ has 10.5 million users, with some being very active - October 3, 2024

TRANSPORT Minister Anthony Loke said the ministry has agreed to scrap the Oct 10 deadline for MyJPJ users to log in to the application with a MyDigitalID.

"Following a pop-up announcement in the MyJPJ app, I want to clarify that this is not an official announcement, and there is information that has been disseminated which may confuse the public.

"I’ve noticed many comments on social media expressing concern and feedback regarding this matter.

“Firstly, I have instructed that the pop-up be removed as there has been no decision from the ministry yet. We are committed to supporting the integration of MyDigital ID with RTD.

"However, this needs to be executed seamlessly, through backend integration," he said.

He said the backend integration will take time to ensure that pre-approval can be granted easily.

"MyJPJ has 10.5 million users, with some being very active, so the integration process will take some time," he said.

Since yesterday, vehicle owners have taken to social media to vent their frustration after facing difficulties registering their details with the MyJPJ application.

Their frustration has intensified, as under the new requirement, Malaysians without a MyDigital ID can no longer log into the application starting Oct 10. - October 3, 2024
