SARAWAK Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg said MASwings will fly to six international destinations once its sale and purchase are finalised.
According to a report by the Sarawak Communication Unit (Ukas), Frankfurt in Germany will be among the international destinations.
"We will purchase several new aircraft to service these new destinations once the acquisition of MASwings is finalised, sometime this month.
“My dream flight destinations are to Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Bangkok (Thailand), Indonesia in Jakarta and Frankfurt in Germany," he said.
He said this at the Excellent Service Award (APC) and Appreciation Dinner organised by the Sarawak Financial Secretary’s Office and the Ministry of Finance and New Economy Sarawak last night.
