THE Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim returned home this morning after a two-week overseas medical treatment.

The royal plane touched down at the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) base in Subang at 7am, as confirmed by a statement released on the official Istana Negara Facebook page.

The palace also conveyed Sultan Ibrahim’s deep appreciation to the Malaysian public for their prayers and well-wishes during his treatment.

“His Majesty extends his sincere gratitude to all Malaysians who prayed for his good health and recovery,” the statement read.

Sultan Ibrahim had left Malaysia on February 7, accompanied by his sons, Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tunku Abu Bakar.

Reports indicated that the King underwent successful conservative treatment for musculoskeletal pain, a condition attributed to his intense military training and active lifestyle, particularly his passion for polo in his younger years.  – February 22, 2025
