Ismail Sabri pledges full cooperation in MACC probe

FORMER Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri said he would cooperate fully with the authorities in their investigations into alleged corruption and money laundering cases linked to him.

He said he was present at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today to give his statement.

The Bera MP spent about six hours there and completed his session at the MACC headquarters at around 3:14 pm today.

Following the lengthy session, sources indicate that Ismail Sabri is expected to return tomorrow to continue his statement.

The details surrounding the investigation remain unclear, and Ismail Sabri refrained from making any comments regarding the matter when approached by the media.

The former leader, who served as Malaysia's Prime Minister from 2020 to 2022, did not provide any additional information about the purpose or nature of the investigation during his departure. - March 13, 2025
