PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) is forecasting over two million vehicles per day to be on its highways for the next three days, beginning tomorrow, as people return to the capital following the Aidilfitri holidays.

According to a statement from PLUS, traffic is expected to peak on April 4, 5, and 6.

In anticipation of this surge, PLUS has urged highway users to plan their journeys by consulting the MyPLUS-TTA digital travel schedule via the PLUS app.

"The MyPLUS-TTA digital schedule is designed to help highway users plan their trips more efficiently, ensuring a smoother flow of traffic and ultimately offering a more comfortable and seamless travel experience," the statement said.

As an incentive, PLUS is offering a total of up to RM20,000 in rewards to highway users who adhere to the MyPLUS-TTA schedule through the 'Follow MyPLUS-TTA for Aidilfitri' campaign on the PLUS app.

PLUS also announced that six grand prize winners will receive hotel vouchers worth RM2,500 each, while 50 consolation prize winners will be awarded RM100 each in Touch 'n Go eWallet credits.

To participate in the campaign, users simply need to register and follow the travel schedule recommended by MyPLUS-TTA for journeys on PLUS-managed highways and the East Coast Expressway 2 (LPT2) until 6 April.

"By following MyPLUS-TTA, highway users are expected to enjoy smoother travel throughout the festive season," the statement added.

Additionally, PLUS reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the travel experience for highway users by continually improving its traffic management strategies during key festive holiday periods. – April 3 2025
