AN 11-year-old boy is believed to have sustained injuries after allegedly being stabbed by his father, who is reportedly a schoolteacher, in an incident that occurred in Kampung Banggol Che Dol, Pasir Mas in Kelantan on Friday morning.

The incident is understood to have taken place at around 8am.

The boy was rushed to Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II (HRPZ II) for further medical treatment.

Pasir Mas District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Kama Azural Mohamed, confirmed that a report had been received regarding the case.

"Further investigations are currently ongoing," Sinar Harian quoted him saying when contacted. - May 2, 2025
