A SINGLE mother from Kota Bharu filed a police report yesterday, alleging that she suspected her 15-year-old daughter was offering sexual services through Telegram.

The 43-year-old mother, who works as a washerwoman, made the report at the Pasir Puteh Police Station.

According to sources, the woman claimed that one of her children - her eldest daughter - informed her of the matter while she was at her home in Jerteh, Terengganu, on September 15.

The sources stated, "According to the woman, her eldest daughter informed her that her other daughter, aged 15, had been offering sexual services. She said that the sixth of seven siblings offered the service for free through Telegram for the first customer, and a fee would be charged for the second time."

"The mother believed that her daughter, a high school student, was involved in sexual relationships with several men.

"She made the report to allow the police to take further action," the source told NST.

It is understood that the girl and her siblings live with their father in Pasir Puteh after their parents divorced 10 years ago.

Kelantan Police Chief, Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat confirmed the case, stating that the police are still investigating the matter. - September 22, 2025
