A TOTAL 102 schools in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor will implement Home Teaching and Learning (PdPR) and Working from Home (BDR) from 23 to 29 October, in conjunction with the 47th Asean Summit.
According to the Ministry of Education (KPM), the measure was taken following the road closures and security controls implemented throughout the organization of the summit, to ensure that students' learning is not affected.
"Parents, guardians, students and teachers of the schools involved are advised to refer to their respective official school channels for further information on the implementation of PdPR and BDR," said MOE.
MOE said its experience in implementing PdPR and BDR during the Covid-19 pandemic and the Asean Summit last May, proved that the approach can maintain the continuity of learning and preserve the well-being of students and school staff. - October 18, 2025
