KJ bruised up after bicycle fall

PUTRAJAYA – Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin suffered injuries to his face after falling while cycling in Jalan Kg Sri Cheeding, Banting, Selangor yesterday.

The cycling enthusiast landed in a ditch after his bicycle hit a pothole at about 11am.

He confirmed the incident on his Twitter account by uploading a photo showing his bruised face and the location of the accident.

His press secretary, Raja Syahrir Raja Abu Bakar,‏ posted on Twitter that Khairy suffered light injuries.

“Thank you, everyone, for reaching out. @khairykj is fine. A little bruised up, but all is good,” he said. – Bernama, December 26, 2020
