Four textile warehouses in Sungai Buloh destroyed in fire

FOUR textile storage warehouses in Kampung Desa Aman, Sungai Buloh caught fire today, causing six victims to suffer from suffocation.

Personnel and officers from four Fire and Rescue Stations (BBP) rushed to the location upon receiving an emergency call at 10am.

Assistant Director of the Operations Division, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, said the four BBPs involved were Sungai Buloh, Bandar Damansara, Bukit Jelutong and Selayang.

"The fire involved four textile storage warehouses which were between 10 percent and 90 percent destroyed.

"Six victims experienced shortness of breath and are being treated by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Emergency Response Services (EMRS) Unit.

"The extinguishing process is still ongoing," he said in a statement. – November 3, 2025
