THE police have concluded their investigation into the case involving a woman known as ‘Inspector Sheila’, who allegedly obstructed a public servant from carrying out his duties in an incident at Jalan Ipoh on Tuesday.

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said the investigation papers would be submitted to the Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) soon, with a recommendation for charges to be filed under the offence of obstructing a public servant.

“The outcome is that we will propose a charge for the offence of obstructing a public servant, and the action will be taken in the near future,” he told reporters after attending the Kuala Lumpur Police 2025 Selawat and Munajat Perdana event at Masjid Al-Sultan Abdullah, Presint Merdeka 118, here tonight.

“As for submission to the DPP, that process is currently under way,” he added.

Commenting on social media content circulating about the incident, Fadil urged media outlets to play their role fairly and responsibly.

“That is indeed the role of the media. It is their responsibility to work with local officers and report fairly so that together we can uphold justice,” he said.

“Most importantly, everyone must play their part properly, insya-Allah,” he added.

The case stems from an incident on Tuesday night, when a woman, allegedly ‘Inspector Sheila’, was accused of obstructing a traffic police officer and using inappropriate language during a stop outside a pizza restaurant on Jalan Ipoh at around 9.30pm. The officer had reportedly detained a Pakistani driver who was found driving without a valid licence. - November 8, 2025
