THE Vibes has issued a public apology to its readers after a severe denial-of-service (DOS) attack rendered the news portal inaccessible for much of the day.

In a brief statement, the platform acknowledged the disruption and thanked users for their patience.

“Our site has been down since morning due to a severe DOS attack and made our site inaccessible since morning. We are doing our best to secure the site against all future attacks. Thank you for the support,” the news outlet said today.

The incident prompted an immediate security response, with technical teams working to stabilise the platform and implement enhanced safeguards to prevent further breaches.

The Vibes added that efforts are ongoing to restore full functionality and ensure uninterrupted access for readers moving forward. – November 24, 2025
