A MAN in his 40s has died following an alleged assault and stabbing during a fight at an entertainment centre in Seremban early Sunday morning, authorities confirmed.

Seremban District Police Chief ACP Azahar Abdul Rahman said the incident occurred at 4.29am on November 23, with the victim later pronounced dead at a hospital due to severe injuries.

"We believe the fight involved 10 to 12 men, and one of them acted by stabbing the victim,” ACP Azahar told Bernama, adding that police are reviewing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the scene to identify those responsible and determine the circumstances leading up to the attack.

He confirmed that the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which relates to murder, and urged anyone with information to approach the nearest police station to assist with the investigation.

A CCTV recording from the premises, lasting one minute and 26 seconds, has circulated widely on social media. The footage reportedly shows the victim attempting to flee as he is pursued by a group of men before being assaulted with chairs and boxes.
