A CHINESE tourist in her thirties died after she reportedly fell from the ninth floor of a hotel in Kota Kinabalu this morning.

She was found unconscious on a parked car below the building, where she had been holidaying with her husband.

Kota Kinabalu Deputy Police Chief Superintendent Syed Lot Syed Ab Rahman said officers were alerted about the incident at about 7am and were deployed to the scene.

Her body was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital I and the case is currently classified as a Sudden Death Report (SDR). - December 7, 2025
