Pahang Sultan and Permaisuri urge unity and harmony as Malaysia welcomes 2026
The Ruler calls on Malaysians to embrace unity, mutual respect, and virtuous values to preserve societal harmony and ensure the prosperity of both the state and the nation - December 31, 2025

HIS and Her Majesties Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Tengku Ampuan Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, have called on Malaysians to embrace unity, mutual respect, and virtuous values to preserve societal harmony and ensure the prosperity of both the state and the nation as 2026 begins.

In a statement shared via the official Facebook page of the Pahang Sultanate today, the royal couple encouraged citizens to make the new year a turning point to strengthen their resolve, enhance efforts, and improve themselves for a brighter future.

“In welcoming the New Year, may all citizens be blessed with well-being, good health, safety, and a life of harmony and prosperity. May 2026 bring renewed hope, strengthened spirit, and success in every challenge encountered,” they said.

The Sultan and Queen also urged the public to join in prayers for the state of Pahang and Malaysia to be spared from disasters such as storms, floods, and earthquakes.

“May Allah SWT continue to bestow His mercy and blessings upon Pahang and Malaysia as a whole,” they added. - December 31, 2025
