THE MIC today reiterated its unwavering dedication to the Indian community, stressing that the party’s mission transcends political appointments.

Datuk Seri M. Saravanan said MIC stands as the unified voice of the Indian community and remains steadfast in its commitment to their progress and well-being.

“With or without positions in government, MIC will continue to serve the Indian community with sincerity and resolve,” he said after the ceremonial sprinkling of rose water at the feet of the iconic Murugan statue,

The Tapah MP said that the MIC Central Working Committee will convene to determine the party’s future direction, ensuring that its strategies remain aligned with the evolving needs of the community.

“MIC will continue to operate with trust, compassion, and integrity. Our focus is on delivering tangible benefits and upholding our responsibilities to the people,” he said.

Considering ongoing challenges, Saravanan called for unity among Malaysian Indians.

“I urge the Indian community to remain united and committed to progress.

Unity is the key to our collective success,” he added. – January 1, 2025
