INDEPENDENT preacher Firdaus Wong Wai Hung claimed he had received death threats following a post on his social media page regarding the Sultan of Selangor's decree on the pig farm issue.

Firdaus will lodge a police report against an individual named Ong Meng who posted the threats in the comments section.

According to him, this is not the first incident, and he has even received death threats and threats of being assaulted before.

"Last year, I made two police reports. The individual who threatened to kill me admitted to doing it, but has not yet been charged.

"Joseph Prakash, the individual who threatened to beat me, has also not been charged," he said in a Facebook post on Monday.

Meanwhile, Firdaus compared the authorities' response to the case with that of comedian Harith Iskander.

"In the case, the suspect was arrested, charged and sentenced in less than a week," he said. – January 16, 2026
