13 Petaling areas still without water supply

KUALA LUMPUR – Water supply in 13 areas in the Petaling district has yet to be restored following landslides in Damansara Utama on Tuesday evening that damaged pipes.

In a statement today, Air Selangor Sdn Bhd said of the 43 affected areas in Petaling, 30 have had their water supply fully restored as of 9am today, including all affected areas in Kuala Lumpur.

Water tankers and local service centres are still available for affected consumers.

Air Selangor also advised consumers just receiving water supply to let water from the tap flow until it is clear before use.

The 13 affected areas are:

- Kg Bukit Lanjan
- Kg Sg Penchala
- Pinggiran TTDI
- Taman Tun Dr Ismail
- PJU1A, Ara Damansara
- Seksyen 20
- SS1
- SS2
- SS4
- SS5
- SS6
- SS9A
