MACC seeks four relatives of the late Tun Daim to assist in ongoing probe

THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has appealed to the public for assistance in locating four Malaysian nationals, all family members of the late former political and business figure Tun Daim Zainuddin, to aid an ongoing investigation.

In a statement, the commission confirmed that the four individuals being sought are relatives of the former minister and corporate leader.

They are Asnida Abdul Daim, whose last known address was in Country Heights, Kajang; Md Wira Dani Abdul Daim, last known to reside in Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur; Muhammed Amir Zainuddin Daim, whose last known address was in Bukit Tunku, Kuala Lumpur; and Muhammed Amin Zainuddin Daim, also last known to reside in Bukit Tunku, Kuala Lumpur.

Members of the public with information regarding the whereabouts of Asnida Abdul Daim are urged to contact Investigating Officer Mohamad Daeem Mohd Ali at 017-9127217.

Information concerning Md Wira Dani Abdul Daim may be channelled to Investigating Officer Ahmad Aiman Ramly at 011-61930814.

Details relating to Muhammed Amir Zainuddin Daim may be forwarded to PPs Muhamad Ridhwan Mat Hussain at 019-9895174, while information on Muhammed Amin Zainuddin Daim should be directed to PPs Hardiansyah Ismail at 013-5639147.

The MACC reiterated that it is empowered under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 to investigate corruption and related offences, and urged anyone with relevant information to come forward promptly to assist in its inquiries. - February 27, 2026
