PEOPLE have praised a senior Kuala Lumpur traffic police officer after he was seen assisting an injured motorcyclist following an accident along Jalan Parlimen.

The officer, Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd, was conducting motorcycle patrols as part of Ops Selamat 26 when he came across the incident.

He reportedly noticed a motorcyclist losing control and falling onto the road. He immediately stopped to render assistance and helped ensure the scene remained safe while attending to the situation.

According to a statement shared on the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Police’s Facebook page, the victim sustained only minor injuries.

The post has since drawn widespread positive reactions online, with many users commending Mohd Zamzuri for personally conducting patrols during the festive period rather than remaining behind the scenes.

Among the comments, a user identified as Parum Niot wrote: “A responsible and kind-hearted senior police officer, well done!”

Another user, under the account Gerai Murah MZK, described the officer’s decision to continue patrol duties even during Hari Raya as commendable, highlighting the dedication shown by senior personnel in maintaining public safety during a peak travel period. - March 22, 2026
