HIS Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, King of Malaysia, has been briefed on the latest developments and management of Islamic affairs in Johor during an official audience held at Istana Pasir Pelangi.

The King, who also serves as the Sultan of Johor, received the briefing from Johor Mufti Yahya Ahmad in a session that focused on religious administration and related matters in the state.

According to a statement shared on the monarch’s official Facebook page, the meeting took place at Istana Pasir Pelangi.

Johor Deputy Mufti Ahmad Faisal Mohamed was also in attendance during the audience.

The engagement reflects ongoing coordination between the Johor royal institution and state religious authorities in overseeing Islamic governance and affairs. - April 17, 2026
