POLICE in Dungun have launched a search operation for a man suspected of committing an act of indecent exposure in front of a female student near the main entrance of Universiti Teknologi MARA Dungun.

Acting Dungun police chief Deputy Superintendent Jumaidy Bah Chong Weh said a report was lodged by a student at approximately 12.30pm, prompting immediate investigations.

“The suspect was believed to be riding a motorcycle and committed the indecent act before fleeing the scene,” he said.

Police have also identified a viral video circulating online that is believed to be related with the same incident.

Since the footage began circulating, several individuals have reportedly come forward claiming they were also victims of similar behaviour by the same suspect at different locations within the district.

The widely shared 12-second clip shows a man on a motorcycle, dressed in an overall, stopping by the roadside and exposing himself towards a woman across the street.

Jumaidy said efforts to trace and apprehend the suspect are ongoing, and police are urging members of the public to come forward with any information that may assist in the investigation. - April 26, 2026
