Unsubsidised RON95 drops to RM4.27, diesel to RM5.12 from Nov 5
Subsidised RON95 and diesel prices remain unchanged at RM1.99 and RM2.10 respectively, MOF says - November 4, 2026

MOTORISTS paying market prices for petrol and diesel will enjoy lower fuel costs from tomorrow, with unsubsidised RON95 falling to RM4.27 a litre and diesel to RM5.12 under the latest weekly price adjustment.

The Ministry of Finance (MOF) said both fuels would be reduced by 15 sen a litre for the Nov 5 to 11 period, while RON97 would see a larger 20-sen cut to RM4.70.

The revised prices compare with RM4.42 a litre for RON95, RM5.27 for diesel and RM4.90 for RON97 previously.

However, prices for subsidised fuels will remain unchanged, with eligible motorists continuing to pay RM1.99 a litre for RON95 under BUDI95 and RM2.10 for diesel under BUDI Diesel.

The government will continue to subsidise RM2.28 for every litre of BUDI95 RON95, equivalent to 53 per cent of its unsubsidised price, and RM3.02 a litre for BUDI Diesel, or 59 per cent of the market price.

Prices under the Subsidised Petrol Control System (SKPS) and Subsidised Diesel Control System (SKDS) will also remain at RM2.05 and RM2.15 a litre respectively.

The ministry attributed the latest reductions to increased supplies of refined petroleum products in regional markets, including petrol and diesel stocks in Singapore, as well as lower Brent crude prices towards the end of the Automatic Pricing Mechanism calculation period. - November 4, 2026
