PANDAN Member of Parliament, Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli, arrived at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters on the fifth day to give an additional voluntary statement regarding the investigation conducted against him.

The former Economy Minister also said that he would submit an additional 28-page document containing, among other things, media reports, official statements and records related to discussions and announcements of cooperation policies with a semiconductor company from the United Kingdom, Arm Holding Inc.

"My lawyer sent a letter to the MACC last Sunday informing them that I voluntarily wanted to provide additional evidence to assist the investigation to be more comprehensive with material that was not raised during the statement period last week," he told a press conference outside the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya.

“I am confident that MACC can make a decision because so far we know, throughout my interrogation, there is no element of money or transactions,” he added.

Meanwhile, Rafizi claimed that there are still many relevant witnesses who have not been called to assist in the investigation regarding the joint venture between the government and Arm Holdings.

On May 7, Rafizi finished giving his statement at the MACC headquarters after four consecutive days of attendance to assist in the investigation of the case.

MACC announced that a total of 22 individuals had given their statements to assist in the investigation of the case under Section 23 of the MACC Act 2009. – May 14, 2026
