PARTI Bersama Malaysia today confirmed that it will contest in the 2026 Johor State Election.

In a statement today, the party said the decision was finalised after several discussions with the leadership and selected members from across the country.

“Further discussions with Bersama members from Johor to identify the seats to be contested have been scheduled today.

“The 2026 Johor election opens up space to introduce Bersama to Johor voters, though the party is less than a month old since its relaunch on May 17,” read the statement.

It said Bersama’s participation in the 2026 Johor Election also allows it to build an election machinery in a short period of time and test the efficiency and weaknesses of the machinery, in preparation for the upcoming elections.

In line with this intention, Bersama’s series of tours to the states will begin in Johor on June 6, 2026 (Saturday) at the Danga Bay Convention Centre at 8 pm.

The series of tours, called the Kancil Tour, will focus on 12 Bersama agendas, with each state focusing on one agenda. – June 3, 2026
