PAKATAN Harapan (PH) is entering the Negeri Sembilan state election with growing confidence of securing a clean sweep across all 36 constituencies, following the successful completion of seat allocations among coalition partners and what leaders describe as a proven record of effective governance.
PH secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the coalition's campaign would be anchored on the achievements of the state administration led by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, whose leadership he credited with attracting substantial investment and significantly strengthening the state's financial reserves.
“Pakatan Harapan (PH) is entering this election with a strong administrative track record under the leadership of Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun.
“We are offering stability and a fresher brand of politics for future generations to assess.
“We are presenting the best choice to the people of Negeri Sembilan, and it should be the preferred option in this election by granting PH the mandate to continue governing the state,” he said at the launch of the PH Election Machinery in Seremban on Friday night.
The Home Minister said PH was offering voters continuity, stability and a forward-looking political agenda, arguing that the coalition’s performance in government provided a strong basis for retaining power when voters head to the polls on Aug 1.
Saifuddin also expressed confidence that the coalition possessed the organisational strength and political momentum required to win every seat being contested.
“Our main task now is to ensure that PH wins all the seats and continues to govern Negeri Sembilan,” he said.
A key factor behind that optimism, he said, was the smooth conclusion of seat allocation discussions among PH component parties, an issue that often tests coalition unity ahead of elections.
According to Saifuddin, Aminuddin had informed him that negotiations had been resolved comprehensively, including the previously disputed Sungai Lui state seat.
Under the final arrangement, the constituency was allocated to AMANAH, bringing an end to internal disagreements and reinforcing what PH leaders describe as a culture of consensus-driven decision-making.
“This clearly demonstrates the spirit of consensus practised among PH leaders, which has always been the foundation for resolving every issue.
“I am confident that the completion of seat allocations, particularly in Sungai Lui, is a sign that we can win all the seats,” he said.
The resolution of the Sungai Lui issue is being viewed within PH as a demonstration of coalition cohesion ahead of a crucial state contest, with leaders hoping the united front will strengthen the alliance's appeal to voters and bolster its ambition of securing a decisive electoral victory. - June 13, 2026
