A DISTURBING video is being circulated on social media showing a woman, believed to be a domestic helper, being beaten by her alleged employers.

This, after the helper was accused of beating their daughter.

In the clips being widely circulated on social media, two women and two men are seen confronting the helper.

They show the helper the clips of her alleged actions before the video shows them assaulting her.

The posts say the incident was in Johor, and the alleged incident of the helper hitting their child was caught on CCTV.

Netizens have since expressed anger and dissatisfaction over the incident, pointing out that the matter should have been referred to the relevant authorities.

They stressed that the employers should not have taken the law into their hands, especially by resorting to hitting the helper.

Others also questioned the purpose of recording the entire incident.

Meanwhile, according to reports in BuletinTV3, Johor Police Chief, Datuk Ab Rahaman Arsad, said police are conducting further intelligence regarding the incident.

“It is still in the intelligence process,” he said briefly. - June 13, 2026
