BARISAN Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) have unofficially claimed to have secured enough seats to form the next Negeri Sembilan state government.

UMNO secretary-general Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki claimed the BN-PN alliance had made a clean sweep of Malay-majority seats in Negeri Sembilan, while also capturing two non-Malay seats previously held by DAP.

He said the results reflected strong support for the coalition across the state, based on unofficial tallying of votes. - August 1, 2026
