“May this legacy continue to be strengthened for the progress of Negeri Sembilan,” he said. - August 1, 2026

PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today congratulated Barisan Nasional for the mandate given by the people of Negeri Sembilan.

“We express our highest appreciation to all voters who have earnestly participated in the recently concluded democratic exercise.

“Appreciation also to all the people of Negeri Sembilan who have given their trust to Pakatan Harapan and Datuk Seri Utama Aminuddin Harun as Menteri Besar for eight years.

“Alhamdulillah, throughout that period, Pakatan Harapan has left behind an excellent administrative legacy based on good governance, stability and development that benefits the people.

“May this legacy continue to be strengthened for the progress of Negeri Sembilan,” he said.

Anwar also stressed that the Federal Government will continue to provide support and cooperation to the new Negeri Sembilan Government for the well-being and prosperity of the state and its people as a whole. – August 1, 2026
