KOTA KINABALU – Sabah will receive its first batch of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine tomorrow.

The vials will arrive at Kota Kinabalu International Airport around 12.30pm.

State Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said he will be at the airport to receive the delivery.

“Questions about the vaccines will be answered only tomorrow. For security reasons, I am not able to divulge more information on the matter,” he told a briefing today.

The vaccines will arrive in six batches starting tomorrow, and will be kept at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and several other facilities.

A total of 42,117 people will be inoculated in the first phase of the National Covid-19 Vaccination Programme in Sabah, which is expected to start on March 4.
