KUALA LUMPUR – PR1MA Corporation Malaysia has clarified that the appointment of Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim as chairman was effective October 23 last year.

In a statement last night, the company said the Arau MP was chosen by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, and the appointment took effect on that date.

Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin two days ago announced Shahidan’s appointment during a visit to the PR1MA headquarters in Petaling Jaya.

She also announced his appointment as National Housing Corporation chairman effective Tuesday. – Bernama, March 11, 2021
