MIRI – Two new Covid-19 fatalities in Sarawak saw the death toll reach 110 today.

The two deaths were recorded at Sibu Hospital and Bintulu Hospital, respectively.

The state also recorded 238 new cases.

The state Disaster Management Committee secretariat said the fatalities involved a 68-year-old Sibu man and a 60-year-old Bintulu man.

The secretariat said tracing is still being carried out in all 36 active clusters statewide.

Meanwhile, a total of 434 patients were discharged.

Bintulu district recorded 95 new infections, followed by Miri (28), Sibu (31), Kuching (22), and Beluru (17), with other districts recording fewer than 10 new cases each. – The Vibes, April 1, 2021
