MIRI – Sarawak has extended its Covid-19 conditional movement control order until April 26, after another death and 211 new cases were recorded today.

The state Disaster Management Committee secretariat said the latest fatality was an 83-year-old woman in Miri Hospital, bringing the toll to 117.

Sarawak also has two new clusters – Jalan Kapitan in Marudi district and Disso in Saratok district.

Bintulu recorded 70 cases today, followed by Sibu (35), Miri (19), Sarikei (21), Kuching (15), Sri Aman (8) and other districts with fewer than eight cases each.
