KUALA LUMPUR – Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will hold a special press conference on his audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong earlier today, at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur at 2pm.

In a statement at noon, PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil issued an invitation to the media.

“Friends in the media are invited to attend this important press conference, and are reminded to always adhere to all SOPs regarding Covid-19.”

Anwar was at Istana Negara this morning for a meeting with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah. He left the palace about 11.30am, about an hour after he arrived.

The PKR president claims to have the support of a majority of MPs to form a new government, and that Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s Perikatan Nasional administration has collapsed. – The Vibes, October 13, 2020
