KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysians must do their part to counter Israeli propaganda online, said Council of Malaysian Women Political Leaders (Comwel) president and founder Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin.

In a statement today, she said the rakyat should not ease up on condemning Israel’s cruelty and war crimes.

“Let’s do our part to counter their propaganda whenever possible. Truth and justice will prevail.”

Zuraida, who is also housing and local government minister, said the fact that Israeli cybertroopers are scrambling to do damage control online shows that they realise the world sees through their manipulative propaganda.

“As founder of Comwel and a female leader, I strongly condemn the wanton acts of Israeli state-sponsored violence against innocent Palestinians, which disproportionately targets defenceless women and children.”

She said it is heartening that even non-Muslims across the globe, notably United States congressman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, have spoken out against the injustices of the Israeli government.

The cruel acts of the Zionist regime against Palestinians during the holy fasting month of Ramadan and on the eve of Aidilfitri speak volumes of Israel’s callous and cruel nature, she said. – Bernama, May 15, 2021
