KUALA LUMPUR – Sarawak businessman Tan Sri Ting Pek Khiing died this afternoon in Kuching, son-in-law and Julau MP Larry Sng told The Vibes.

Ting, who was a prominent property developer, was 75 years old. He was awarded several mega projects during former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s time, including the Bakun dam.

Ting died in his residence at Jalan Setia Raja, Kuching.

Sng, who is also Sarawak PKR chairman, is married to Ting’s daughter, May in 2006. – The Vibes, October 16, 2020
