KUALA LUMPUR – Universiti Malaya will investigate a post titled “Yang di-Pertuan Agong Should Not Intervene in National Affairs” that was published on the varsity’s Association of New Youth Facebook page.

Its corporate communications office, in a statement today, said UM views seriously the article posted by the registered student body.

The varsity stressed that it respects the royal institution.

“The university’s top management condemns any statement that violates, or is contradictory to, this principle.”
