KUALA LUMPUR – Just a day after being appointed to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Tg Karang MP Tan Sri Noh Omar today announced he has backed out of the committee.

“I voluntarily withdraw as a PAC member to pay more attention to Selangor Umno.

“I’ve informed Barisan Nasional chairman and Dewan Rakyat speaker of my decision via an official letter at 10am today.”

In his Facebook post, he thanked BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi for nominating him to the committee to represent the coalition.

Noh Omar was among the 12 MPs appointed to PAC yesterday.
