The State Disaster Management Committee said the infections came about during the CNY dinner and gathering in a village house.

“They have been taken to the Sarawak General Hospital and quarantine centres.

“The index case has a history of travelling to Kuala Lumpur.

“He came back to Kg Semeba on January 31 and had a CNY family gathering on February 1.

“He fell ill on February 5 and tested positive when he went to a clinic for a check-up,” the committee said in a statement.
