A total of 54 active clusters has reported new cases with the highest being the Teratai cluster, at 245 followed by Sandakan Prison at 215 cases. The bulk of today’s new cases come from Sabah and Selangor at 660 and 407, respectively.

The ones detected in Sabah come from the temporary detainment centres, lock-ups and prison clusters whereas in Selangor it comes from the Teratai and Kapas BJ clusters.

“Until now, there are a total of 110 cases being treated in the intensive care unit in which 37 of them require respiratory support.

Today’s four deaths brings the total death count to 326 cases which is 0.6% of the total cumulative cases – 51,680.

“The Ministry would like to remind the public to avoid crowded and narrow places. Please practice the 3W. Wash, wear and warn,” read Dr Noor Hisham’s statement today. – The Vibes, November 19, 2020
