KUALA LUMPUR – Police are urging the public to lodge reports on purportedly leaked court documents related to Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor’s RM1.25 billion corruption case.

The documents claimed to contain the decision on her case were leaked yesterday.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim told Sinar Harian that no reports have been made on the matter.

“I ask any party to come forward to make a police report so an investigation can be carried out,” he said yesterday.

Earlier this week, police also received reports about leaked court documents related to former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s final appeal against his SRC International conviction.

Meanwhile, Rosmah, who is Najib’s wife, will be back in court on September 1 to know if she will be convicted for three charges relating to the RM1.25 billion hybrid photovoltaic solar system integrated project for 369 rural schools in Sarawak.

Rosmah, 70, filed the judicial review application on June 24 through Messrs Akberdin & Co in the high court naming the attorney-general and public prosecutor, the government of Malaysia, and senior deputy public prosecutor Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram as respondents.

However, her earlier application was dismissed by the court and her appeal against the ruling was also rejected by the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.

Rosmah is charged with soliciting RM187.5 million and two counts of receiving bribes of RM6.5 million from Jepak Holdings Sdn Bhd’s former managing director Saidi Abang Samsuddin through her former special officer Datuk Rizal Mansor.

It was an inducement to help the company Jepak Holdings to secure the hybrid photovoltaic solar system integrated project for 369 rural schools in Sarawak, worth RM1.25 billion.
