KUALA LUMPUR - Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak has been admitted to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) after he tested positive for Covid-19.

This was confirmed by the former prime minister's special officer, Muhamad Mukhlis Maghribi in a statement.

Najib was rushed to the hospital after he complained of a high fever and doctors later confirmed he was positive for Covid-19.

Muhamad said Najib is in stable condition and is observing quarantine and receiving the necessary treatment at the hospital.

Muhamad also thanked the prison authorities and HKL for their swift action in treating the former premier. - The Vibes, November 2, 2023
