At your service: cops come to elderly man’s rescue

PETALING JAYA – Netizens are singing praises over the action of two policemen who helped an elderly man who fell off his bicycle.

The man, in his 70s, is believed to have fallen off after he became too weak due to hunger.

The two policemen, who were in a patrol car, spotted the man and rushed to help him up and later brought him to a coffee shop to get some food.

The incident was also shared on the Taiping police’s Facebook page.

The two policemen who rushed to assist the old man were identified as “Corporal Izwan” and
“Constable Diren”.

The old man was from Kg Dewan and was on his way home when he became too tired.

Locals who witnessed the incident have since given the policemen the thumbs up for their kindness. – The Vibes, November 5, 2023
