MALAYSIAN stand-up comedian, TikToker, and proud Chindian, Gajen Nad, will be hitting stages in Penang and Kuala Lumpur this month with his brand new comedy special – Professional Mixed Breed.

During the Covid-19 lockdowns, Gajen became a familiar face at corporate events. He entertains audiences on live virtual platforms, while successfully reinventing himself as a content creator on social media and amassing millions of views.

Now, with live events back on the menu, Gajen is finally able to do what his fans love most – stand-up comedy.

Freshly out of his Covid sick bed, Gajen shares his experience cutting his teeth on the open mic scene as an upstart comic, his take on what went down at The Crackhouse Comedy Club, and what he thinks the state of comedy is in Malaysia today.

Are Malaysian comedians afraid to be funny? Have we heard it all? Why does ‘lawak bodoh’ appeal to so many? – The Vibes, August 10, 2022

Gajen Nad is set to perform 'Professional Mixed Breed' on August 12 and 13 in Penang, and August 26 and 27 in Kuala Lumpur. Tickets available on http://linktr.ee/GAJENNAD

Produced by Shazmin Shamsuddin and Sound Engineered by Ethan Phoon
