OUR bite-sized mental health conversations focus on you this week, as we tackle letters from listeners whose problems range from a lack of purpose to possible reverse body dysmorphia and a delusional state of mind.

Steven has no life – no romantic interests remotely on the horizon, a career he no longer enjoys, no hobbies nor outside interests, and no money to seek therapy. Can he shake this apathy and find new purpose and energy to move forward in life?

Azilah has a teenager who is displaying signs of emotional trauma and obsessive compulsive behaviour. Did a sudden change in environment trigger this, and can OCD be nipped in the bud if caught early enough?

And Norah has come to the realisation that what she sees in the mirror is not necessarily what others see when they look at her. She questions her self assessment and wonders if it is unhealthy to have too much self esteem. – The Vibes, September 6, 2022
