THIS week, the Minister of Health, Dr Zaliha Mustafa joins host Manvir Victor to highlight some of the key issues that she has had to address in her first 90 days in office. 

Having experienced serving her community, she now manages the national healthcare system with the same care and attention she did as a general practitioner. 

Dr Zaliha expounds on the immediate issues in public health, continues to strives for improvement, and the all important digitisation of healthcare facilities, which has been long overdue. 

She discusses the important role of wellness as the Ministry of Health actively tackles non communicable diseases (NCD).

Dr Zaliha also breaks down how improvements to public health will benefit the public with digital transformation. 

With the budget looming tomorrow, she shares what we can hope to expect and the key areas that bode well for improvement.
